VOCALS, GUITARJumping up and down, a twinkle in his eye, making sure he was always in first row of the school choir. These were the kind of attributes that made Peter’s peers always aware that he was destined for rock stardom. That AND wearing a ‘Led Coffin’ t-shirt also helped. This of course being Pete’s first true rock band at the tender age of just 9 years. Yes, Pete realised at an early age that not just wearing a band ‘T’ was cool and helped pick up the ladies, but wearing your own band ‘T’ was EVEN COOLER!
While other members of Led Coffin lived of the royalties of their first and only hit, an epic prog rock cover version of The New Zealand National Anthem, Peter realised that for a short time he would need to get a ‘day’ job.
Of course wearing a lovely shirt and tie didn’t sit well with the rock lifestyle in later years. So in 2005 Peter stripped off all his business attire in the office and walked out naked.
These days it is most likely you will find the front man for Tourist sitting at his piano or on his guitar writing new ditties (fully clothed, we believe)
